Truck Spring & Suspension Repair in Abbotsford
Truck spring and suspension repair in Abbotsford
Rear-end sag, a new lean or a harsh ride can have several causes. For leaf-spring-equipped trucks, inspection should consider the spring pack, bushings, shackles, mounting points and axle clamping hardware rather than treating every symptom as a need for more leaves.
Separate damage from load-related sag
Tell us whether the issue occurs empty, with a permanent service body, or only when towing. Broken leaves or worn mounts require attention before adding load-support equipment. Tire pressures, shocks and other suspension components can also affect ride and handling; diagnosis determines which work is appropriate.
Stock replacement, custom springs or air bags?
A stock replacement aims to restore the intended configuration. A custom spring can be discussed for a particular application. Air bags can provide adjustable support on compatible vehicles, but cannot repair a damaged spring or increase the vehicle's GVWR, GAWR or tow rating.
Prepare for a fitment discussion
Have the year, make, model, axle configuration, original spring number and photos ready. Describe any lift, altered shackles, added equipment or previous modifications. Always recommended to replace in pairs. If you need just one spring, call 604-855-9982 to confirm the correct match.
